Users acknowledge and agree that the core function of the Platform is to connect businesses with one another. Accordingly, certain information provided at the time of registration — including business name, nature of business/offerings, and the contact details of the authorised representative designated for business enquiries — shall be visible and searchable by other registered business Users on the Platform, for the purpose of enabling direct business connection and communication.
Udyami Connect exercises no control over, and bears no responsibility for, the manner in which another User subsequently uses, stores, retains, or further discloses information viewed or obtained through a connection made on the Platform. Any such further use is between the concerned Users and is governed by their own arrangement, and not by this Policy.
Users may, subject to the Platform's available settings, choose to limit the visibility of certain non-mandatory profile fields. Certain fields, however, are necessarily visible to other Users as they are essential to the Platform's function of enabling business connections.
Sharing of Information With Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade User information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We may share information with:
- Third-party service providers engaged to operate the Platform, including hosting, cloud storage, analytics, payment processing, and communication service providers, who are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality and use the information solely for the purpose for which it is shared,
- Regulatory, governmental, or judicial authorities where required under applicable law, written notice, or court order,
- A successor entity in connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to that entity agreeing to honor this Policy.
Third-Party Websites and Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including websites of Users or their business profiles maintained elsewhere. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third-party websites. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of any third-party website they visit.
Data Security
We adopt reasonable security practices and procedures, including encryption and access controls, to protect User information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Sensitive information exchanged with the Platform is transmitted over SSL/TLS-secured channels. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of User data.
Data Retention
We retain business and personal information for as long as the User's account remains active, and thereafter for such period as is necessary to comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, information shall be securely deleted or anonymized.

Withdrawal of consent or a request for erasure of information necessary to operate a business profile may result in suspension or discontinuation of the User's access to the Platform, to the extent such information is essential for provision of the service.
Cross-Border Data Transfer
Where information is stored or processed using service providers or infrastructure located outside India, we shall ensure that such transfer is undertaken in accordance with applicable law, including any conditions prescribed under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and that adequate contractual safeguards are in place with the relevant service provider.
